This year's Softball Victoria Open State Championships wil be hosted by the Geelong Softball Association at Stead Park, Corio on the weekend of February 12th & 13th.

Please note the regulations regarding team entry and players for the Open State Championships 

• Players and officials participating in State Championships must be registered members of their respective Affiliated Member Association. Players and officials selected for a Region must be an affiliated member of one of the member associations within that Region.
• Open Age Championships – Association based team entry
• Any two Associations are able to enter a combined team however combined teams are not eligible to then select pick-up players from a third association
• All stand-alone association teams are eligible to select a maximum of two pick-up players from other associations
• All pick-up players must have the written approval of their home member association (the association they are registered with) prior to accepting an offer from another association
• Associations have the right to refuse the request from any player to join another association as a pick-up player without explanation
• It is the responsibility of each Association to contact and recruit pick-up players and then notify the SV Events Committee
• Players are only eligible to play for the association they are registered with as at midnight on 1st December immediately prior to the relevant State Championship; except if they are a pick-up player.
• Eligible Pick up players must complete the Championship Permit form using the online permit system (Revsport) and must be processed 7 days prior to the State Championship.
• The minimum age for Open State Championships is 14
