The U16 Zone Championships will be held on the weekend of 26th & 27th February, 2022, venue to be confirmed.hosted by the Knox District Softball Association, Gilbert Park.

PLEASE NOTE THE REGULATIONS REGARDING TEAM ENTRY AND PLAYERS FOR THE U16 STATE ZONE CHAMPIONSHIPS 

• Regions are not eligible to enter combined teams with other regions
• Region teams are eligible to select a maximum of three pick-up players from other associations only if all eligible and willing participants have been selected. Region teams cannot request pick-up players if they have eligible and willing players that were not selected.
• To request pick-up players Region Managers must email the SV Events Committee at vicevents@softball.org.au and advise of the number of players required and specify if a pitcher or catcher is required. No other positions will be considered.
• Players are only eligible to play for the Region they are registered within as at midnight on 1st December immediately prior to the relevant State Championship.
• Eligible Pick up players must complete the Championship Permit form using the online permit system (My Softball Community) and must be processed 7 days prior to the State Championship. This is to be administered by SVEC.
• Maximum and minimum age for State Championships is based on 31st December of the year the summer season starts as per member registration process for all age specified competitions. For Example: 2017/18 Summer Season = 31st December 2017
• It remains the responsibility of individual Affiliated Member Associations/Regions to ensure that players conform to these age limits. If a dispute arises in this regard, proof of age will be required.
• There is no minimum age set for U16 Zone State Championships
