Softball Victoria invites all club and association committee members and coaches to attend this Preseason Recruitment & Retention Workshop being held online on Tuesday 22 August 2023, from 7 - 9pm.
The workshop will involve presentations from Participation Coordinators about
- Preparing to welcome new and returning people to your club
- Effective marketing and promotional tools
- 6 key principles of Doing Sport Differently
- Upskilling, increasing and empowering your volunteers
- Coach, scorer and umpire education
- Homerun Heroes programs
- Junior Participation & competition format
Attendees will be invited to share your own ideas, what has worked well for you in the past and brainstorm new ideas you'd like to try.
