Junior Pathway
Softball is a sport that can be enjoyed by young and old. This is the pathway recommended for juniors aged 4-12 from entry level to junior competition.
Home Run Heroes is the greatest introduction for kids (aged 4-10) into the game of Softball. Kids throw, jump, run, laugh, and build the confidence to uncover the hero within. This entry point to softball gives kids the opportunity to learn fundamental movement and softball specific skills at their own pace and progress through the participation pathway and ultimately, build a life-long love of the game.
Fully Loaded TeeBall is where children get to play modified softball games in a fun and friendly setting. The sessions run for 1 hour over 8 weeks – with the emphasis being on teamwork and game play. The program is designed for children who have graduated from Softball Batter Up or are new to the sport. It is suitable for 8-12 year olds.
Fully Loaded 12 and unders is for graduates of the tee ball program, and is recommended for 10-12 year olds. It is part of the local association competitions where children play organised games as part of a club team.
Junior Softball – your child will now transition to teams within your club and association. They are now part of the pathway to a lifelong love of softball, making new friends and keeping active.
