Congratulations to everyone who took part in the 2023 Victorian Masters Championships over the weekend in Shepparton, we hope you all had a great weekend.

We had 36 teams take part in over 90 games across three wonderful days at Mooroopna Recreation Reserve.

A Grade: Amigos defeated Vicsens Juniors 6-1
B Grade: Monash Magic 1 defeated Pink Diamonds 2-1
C Grade: Casey 2 Cans defeated Bluebirds 9-2
D Grade: Monash Magic 2 defeated Cobras 13-2
E Grade: Eastern Raiders 2 defeated Northvale 14-2

Men

A Grade: Melton Padres defeated Western Wolverines 7-0
B Grade: Phantoms defeated Hawks Masters 8-6

We hope everyone had a fantastic time in Shepparton, and we would like to extend our thanks to everyone who played a part in making the 2023 Victorian Masters Championships happen.

Events like the Victorian Masters Championship can't happen without our volunteers putting in the hours behind the scenes. A huge thanks in particular to Cheryl Waye, Angela Broadbent, Deb Keogh and Kerry Franklin for the event and umpire co-ordination.

Thank you to Stephen and Michael Ballestrino for the incredible amount of hours they put in over the weekend, bringing up ten diamonds worth of equipment from Melbourne on the Thursday, setting it up on Friday, maintaining it over the weekend and then packing it all up and bringing it back to Melbourne.

It's contributions like these that make sure everyone participating have such a great time, so once again we say thank you.
