The Board of Softball Victoria is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Bradstreet as President.

After serving as Chair since April 2018, Anthony was voted as President after a Board Meeting on Monday 7 June 2021, following the departure Bron Parry who stepped down in March to join Softball Australia as National Operations Manager.

Anthony is a transformation manager with a large Australian bank and has a long career in technology and leadership roles. His current role is focusing on managing transformational change across technology and business teams, and he brings experience in ICT, strategy development, and governance.

In softball Anthony has been involved in numerous roles for over 10 years including as a parent, administrator, coach and umpire. He is passionate about growing the sport and encouraging new players into the game.

The Board would also like to acknowledge Ben Byrnes who has transitioned from Director and Chair of the Finance & Governance Committee, to Chair of the Board.

At the upcoming AGM on Saturday 11 September 2021, two (2) Board Director positions are up for election.
