National Volunteer Week - Scoring and Umpiring committees

As part of National Volunteer Week, Softball Victoria would like to recognise and celebrate the hundreds of volunteers that contribute so much to our community.

Today, we’d like to highlight the efforts of our Scoring and Umpiring committees.

The Scoring and Umpiring committees are responsible for coordinating the umpiring and scoring at National and State Championships.

This includes everything from organising travel and accommodation, arranging umpire and scorer rosters, and training and assessment.

Without the selfless work of these committees, our sport wouldn't exist as we know it. The game simply wouldn’t function without the continued dedication to their craft.

Softball Victoria will highlight some of our dedicated volunteers for the remainder of National Volunteer Week, while acknowledge the efforts all volunteers contribute to the sport.
