What is your advice to aspiring young softballers?
Just go there and do it and most importantly have fun. Enjoy it, don’t be afraid to fail, and if you do – don’t give up – just learn the lesson move on and go do it again.
I failed so many times in my athletics and softball career and I get frustrated and angry, but these failures led me to the greatest achievements in my sporting life. There’s no growth without failure.

Running hard across the outfield to catch fly balls.
Outside of softball I enjoy…?
Being at the beach with a book, or on the surfboard and pretty much everything outdoors.
Favourite holiday destination?
Phillip Island, my happy place.
What music do you listen to before a game?
Classical covers of songs.
My most memorable softball moment is?
My first European Championship when I robbed a home run.
Favourite post game treat?
YOMG (burger restaurant).
The biggest influence on my softball journey is?
Definitely my parents for their infinite support, especially my dad. He is a great baseball player and coach and to see how much respect he owns from the baseball community is very inspiring.
What’s most exciting about playing Peta Edebone Cup softball?
To play with and against the best players in the state.
