Softball Victoria is proud to announce the weekend of February 19 will celebrate Pride.

Partnering with Pride Cup, the weekend is an opportunity to demonstrate our game is inclusive, promotes equality, and provides a welcoming environment for all players, officials and spectators.

• What: Softball Victoria Pride Weekend
• Where: Any association and club that opts to be involved.
• When: Saturday February 19
• Socials: #softballvicpride

Associations and clubs that support the initiative will be provided with a Pride flag to display at their venues, and rainbow wrist bands for plate umpires to wear.

Players are also welcome to order Pride socks to wear in matches on Pride weekend, with clubs encouraged to make a bulk order before Friday February 11.

Committee members, players and officials are welcome to attend an online 'LGBTI+ Inclusion in Sport' information session hosted by Pride Cup at 7pm on Wednesday February 16. These education sessions are a way for all softball sporting environments to take strides towards being welcoming and inclusive for the entire LGBTI+ community.
