What excites you the most about your SV Fastpitch team this season?

The skill and exuberance of our younger players, mixed with the experience, knowledge and skill of our players that have been around for a few more years 😉

What is the best thing about playing in the SV Fastpitch competition?

Catching up with everyone on a Thursday night, playing with the people I enjoy playing with and watching the competition grow as the younger generation come through.

What music do you listen to before a game?

Normally come straight from work, so what ever podcast I am listening to at the time, although the only good thing about the Sunday rounds is Triple M’s “Almost Acoustic Sundays” on the way to the games

Any softball superstitions?

Not really – just don’t mess with the softball gods!

Favourite post game treat?

A nice cold can.

Outside of softball I enjoy:

I enjoy getting away for (non softball) holidays, love a good Sunday acoustic session at a local winery in the Yarra Valley!

Favourite holiday destination?

Thailand – good to just sit and relax and do not much!

Favourite AFL team?

Essendon – bout time we had a good year!

If you could change one thing about softball?

Just one?? I would love to see the men play at the Olympic Games.

Your most memorable softball moment?

Watching my kids love the game as much as I do (or more!).

The biggest influence on your softball journey?

Everyone that I have met and continue to meet along the way.

What is your advice to aspiring young softballers?

Love the game, respect the game and leave it in better shape that you found it.
