Watkeys Inducted into British Softball Hall Of Fame

Softball Victoria would like to congratulate Rachael Watkeys on her induction into the British Softball Federation Hall of Fame.

Rachael has a significant history with softball in Victoria.

Her family has a long association with Heathmont Raiders Softball Club, where she developed her skills as a junior.

After moving to the UK as an adult, she became Head Coach of the Great Britain Junior Women’s Team program in 2013, taking the Under-19 Women to two World Championships.

She also led the GB Women’s Team to medals at two European Championships, and has been credited with professionalising every aspect of the Women’s Team program.

Nominations for the BSF Hall of Fame inductees come from the softball community, and inductees are selected based on having played a major role in the growth and development of, or demonstrated outstanding achievement and ability within, British Softball.
